Kye and Shahron's dream of starting an urban winery began in 2015 during their first date at a Washington wine tasting room. Together, they fell in love with the art and process of winemaking. However, they experienced a significant lack of diversity and approachability - it felt like you had to know about wine to enjoy wine.

This became the spark that motivated Kye and Shahron to create an inclusive urban winery in Seattle, where people of all backgrounds and cultures feel celebrated. In 2023, Kye and Shahron took the leap and established Saanj Winery - developed for the people.

Here, wines are vibrant and approachable. More importantly, here everyone can be themselves while enjoying the art of wine.
